How to determine if you have factory installed keyless entry on FORD vehicles

Do you own a Ford vehicle but you want to know if you have factory installed keyless entry?

Follow these quick steps and you will know before you buy.

• Switch ignition from OFF to ON 8 times within 10 seconds:
(make sure you turn the key to the ON position. If the engine cranks, you went to far)
• Doors should lock and unlock

If the door locks cycle (lock and unlock) then you know you have factory installed keyless entry. If nothing happens try again, but cycle the key faster.
